At 10:08hrs both DWMRT and GOI Mountain Rescue teams were tasked by An Garda Síochána (AGS) for a 65yr old female who sustained a lower leg injury and facial injuries following a fall while out walking. The patient was treated on site and evacuated via stretcher by Mountain Rescue personnel and handed over to the National Ambulance Service crew.
Both teams were stood down at 11:41hrs.
Duration of incident: 1 hour, 33 minutes.
