98 Callouts

2022 was another busy year for Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team as we responded to 98 callouts.

Just over half of our callouts were responding to hikers (52%), while the most common injury was minor trauma, including fractures, at 41%. Just over half of our callouts occur on weekends (55%) and Sunday is generally our busiest day, accounting for 32% of our calls.

August was our busiest month, with 13 callouts, while January, April, May, and July had at least ten in each month. Our average callout time was 2 hours 17 minutes.
