Callout 106 – 30th November 2021 – Lugnaquillia

At 14:32hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by An Garda Síochána for two walkers who became lost, while descending Lugnaquillia.

SARLOC technology was used to locate their position and they were then guided down by phone while their position was been tracked. Once the walkers came out to the RV point given to them, they were picked by Mountain Rescue Personnel and returned safely to Rescue Base.

Team was stood down at 15:43hrs.
