At 12:58hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by the National Ambulance Service reports of a 27 year old male with who had fallen and sustained a hip and arm injury. Given the mechanism of injury, it was decided to treat the casualty as spinal. After assessment the patient was packaged and then a short stretcher carry back to the waiting NAS crew and ambulance at the car park.
Team was stood down at 14:02hrs.
Duration of incident: 1 hours, 4 minutes.
