At 12:21hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Search Dog Team were asked to assist in the search for a missing 82 year old female. One dog was initially tasked with two more dog teams to follow to cover a wider area more swiftly. Unfortunately the woman’s remains were discovered later in the search.
We express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased and may she rest in peace.
Team was stood down at 16:17hrs.
Duration of incident: 3 hours, 56 minutes.
