At 11:21 on Thursday, January 31st, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist a walker who became crag-fast on Bray Head.
The walker was unable to move up or down after a partial descent from the summit. Mountain rescue personnel located the walker using Sarloc Rescue and responded to the location. The walker was treated for mild hypothermia and assisted back to safety using confidence-roping techniques. The incident was stood down at 13:20.
