Callout 71 - 8th August 2021 – Glendalough.

At 13:48hrs Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and GOI Mountain Rescue teams were tasked by An Garda Síochána (AGS) for a young walker who had sustained a deep laceration to her leg following a fall while walking on the Spinc.

She was assessed and treated for her injury by Mountain Rescue Medical Personnel and then transported by stretcher down to the Miners village to a NAS ambulance and crew.

Team stood down at 16:29hrs.

Duration of incident: 2 hours, 41 minutes.
