At 13:54 on Tuesday, July 16th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist a walker who sustained a lower leg injury in Glendalough.
Mountain rescue personnel made their way to the incident site, and once on scene, assessed and treated the walker. The injured walker was then stretchered to a waiting ambulance.
The operation was stood down at 16:12. Our thanks to the National Ambulance Service for their assistance.
