Callout 53 - 7th July 2019 - Glendasan

At 14:28 on Sunday, July 7th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to come to the assistance of a walker who had sustained a lower leg injury while walking with friends.

Mountain rescue (MR) personnel made their way to the incident site, just off the main track which leads to Camaderry, from Glendasan car park. The patient was assessed and treated by MR medics and then evacuated by stretcher to the car park, and a waiting ambulance. The operation was stood down at 16:25.

Our thanks to the National Ambulance Service (NAS) for their assistance.
