At 14:23, on Tuesday, April 30th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to treat a young walker who was part of a school group.
The walker sustained a lower leg injury after falling on a sharp rock. The patient was treated by a mountain rescue (MR) advanced paramedic before being evacuated, by stretcher, to a waiting ambulance. The operation was stood down at 16:32.
