At 13:06, on Sunday, April 28th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service (NAS) to treat a young biker who had come off his bike at an event in Carrick Wood.
Mountain rescue personal treated the biker for a suspected lower leg injury. The patient was packaged into a stretcher and carried to a waiting ambulance, where the biker was given further treatment by paramedics and transported to hospital. The operation was stood down at 15:03.
