At 17:00hrs both DWMRT and GOI Mountain Rescue teams were tasked by the National Ambulance Service (NAS) for a 16yr old male mountain biker with possible wrist/arm fracture on Carrick Mountain. Paramedics were brought into the scene initially by the childs father and 1 member of MR to establish where the casualty site was. The patient was treated and brought down to the waiting ambulance.
Both teams were stood down at 18:25hrs.
Duration of incident: 1 hour, 25 minutes.
