At 14:11 on Thursday, April 11th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist a walker on the Sugarloaf.
Mountain rescue personnel responded to the incident site and treated the walker for a lower leg injury. The patient was then evacuated by stretcher to a waiting ambulance. The incident was stood down at 15:55. Our thanks to the National Ambulance Service (NAS) for their assistance.
