At 15:18hrs on Sunday, May 2nd. Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service for a male who had sustained a lower leg injury whilst out mountain biking. The 18 year old made his way with the help of his friends to the roadside where he was treated by a Mountain Rescue Doctor and Medics. After been checked over, he was then transported by a MR vehicle down to a waiting NAS ambulance.
The incident was stood down at 16:14hrs.
Duration of incident: 56 minutes.
