At 09:43hrs on Monday, April 5th. Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service for a Mountain biker who had come off his bike and suffered a head injury/facial laceration.
The patient was located by Mountain Rescue personnel and transferred down to a waiting Ambulance for further treatment.
The incident was stood down at 10:29hrs.
Duration of incident: 46 minutes.
