At 14:44hrs on Friday, April 2nd, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service for a 56year old female who had been out hiking and fallen.
Mountain Rescue Doctor and Paramedic on scene, treated the patient for her injuries and with the help of more MR personnel, then packaged and transported the patient down to a waiting NAS ambulance.
The request was stood down at 16:51hrs.
Duration of incident: 2 hours, 7 minutes.
