At 13:00hrs on Friday, April 2nd, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were requested by An Garda Síochána for assistance in relation to a person in Howth Head who was seen entering the water. IRCG requested MR to be on standby at their base as a precautionary measure to conduct a cliff rescue operation incase the person was stuck on cliff.
The request was stood down at 13:21hrs.
Duration of request: 21 minutes.
