At 17:19hrs on Wednesday, March 17th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service to assist with a medical emergency. Rescue 116 was also on standby. The team Doctor with the help of Mountain Rescue medics provided essential medical interventions untill the patient was extracted and transferred over to the National Ambulance Service.
The incident was stood down at 19:36hrs.
