At 11:29hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were requested by An Garda Síochána to help in recovery of a person’s remains. A plan was formulated and available team members and Swift Water Technicians were tasked.
We express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased.
The operation was stood down at 14:16hrs.
