At 16:21hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by the National Ambulance Service to a report of a 72yr old male who was out hiking with a group of walkers when he sustained an ankle/knee injury in the Fraughan Rock Glen.
The casualty was assessed and treated on scene by MR personnel, before being evacuated by stretcher down to the National Ambulance Service.
Team was stood down at 18:21hrs.
Duration of incident: 2 hours.
