At 19:11hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by the National Ambulance Service to a report of a missing person. After contact with the walker and establishing his location, he was picked up safe and well by a Mountain Rescue Response vehicle on a mountain track.
Team was stood down at 20:22hrs.
Duration of incident: 1 hour, 11 minutes.
