At 12:26hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by An Garda Síochána to a report of a female walker with a lower leg injury. On arrival to the patient location, Mountain Rescue personnel assessed her and administered pain relief. The patient was then packaged and stretchered down the Miners village and handed over to the National Ambulance Service crew.
Team was stood down at 15:52hrs.
Duration of incident: 3 hours, 26 minutes.
