Callout 006 – 11th - January - 2022 – Glenealy, Co Wicklow.

At 16:55hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by by An Garda Síochána to a report of two people, who had become lost in the area of Deputys Pass, near Glenealy, County Wicklow. The missing persons were located by using SARLOC technology. Mountain Rescue Personnel made their way to the lost hiker’s location and they walked them out of the area and back to their vehicle that was parked close by.

Team was stood down at 17:48hrs

Duration of incident: 53 minutes.
