Miners Village, Glendalough.

A young man who was injured and in need of assistance sucessfully attracted the attention of Mountain Rescue personnel by using his torch to flash a signal for help at 21:15hrs. The mountain rescue personnel, who happened to be out on a night navigation training exercise, in the Glendalough Valley, recognised the distress signal and raised the alarm.
