Callout 5: Glendalough

On Saturday, 21st Jan 2012, a lady required assistance when she gashed her knee while walking in Glendalough. At about midday, the woman sought assistance, and a small party of mountain rescue personnel were able to reach the walker, treat her injury and transport her to safety. Thanks to all those who responded from the DublinWicklow and the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue teams.

Callout 4: Glendalough

On Sunday, 15th Jan 2012, at 11.00am, a 25-year old woman fell while running around the Spinc trail. She was assisted by her friends until reached by mountain rescue personnel who were then able to stretcher her approx 1 km down the Miner's Village. Callout 3: Turlough Hill

On Sunday 8th January 2012 at approximately 18.00hrs, Mountain Rescue in Wicklow received their second callout of the day, this time for a long-distance runner who was reported as missing in Wicklow. The Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team immediately put their members on full call out as more information was gathered from the person who made the initial 999 call. Callout 2: Glendalough

At approximately 13.30 on Sunday 8th January 2012 , Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team received their second call of the New Year. A 32 year old female was out walking with a group of friends in Glendalough when she began to feel unwell.
