The Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team & the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana for 2 motorists on the military road at Grid Reference O141 185.
Their car had come off the road and the clutch had burnt out and they were unable to get down to safety due to the adverse weather conditions.
Both Teams responded in 4x4 vehicles to locate the 2 and bring them down to safety.
