At 12:37hrs, while both Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were dealing with a patient on the Spinc, they were again tasked by An Garda Siochana to the aid of a dog that had gone over the cliff edge. As both Teams were already in the area, two responders were sent to liaise with the owners and assist them off the steep ground. With the help of a Drone the dog was located and Mountain Rescue Personnel made their way and checked the animal over. Thankfully she had not sustained any serious injuries. She was then packaged and reunited to the thankful owners.
Incident stood down at 15.52hrs.
