On Saturday 6th November, at approx. 7pm three hillwalkers descending from Lugnaquillia (Leinster's highest mountain) became disoriented and lost in the forests of the Ow valley. Another busy weekend for mountain rescue awaits

2 team members, Team Leader Mark Flynn and Deputy Team Leader Chris England are attending the annual congress of the Int'l Commission for Alpine Rescue (IKAR-CISA) and Kenny Roberts Deputy Team Leader, who is also Mountain Rescue Ireland Vice Chair will be delivering a presentation to the Missing Person Helpline.
