 Wicklow Way Relay Sponsorship Draw - 2nd JulySponsor our team members on their 127km run & you could be spending a night in The Shelbourne Hotel Dublin!8 Mountain Rescue runners........one day to complete..........Amazing Prizes to be Won! Eight members of the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team are busy training for the Irish Mountain Running Association Wicklow Way Relay Race on the 12th June 2010. The race starts in the Dublin Mountains and follows the Wicklow Way to Shillelagh in Co. Wicklow. Over the course of the race our team members will have run 127km and climbed 3200m. The race team are aiming for a finish time of under 10 hours. This is a very appropriate fundraiser for our team members as it brings us from the beginning to the end of our operational area all in one day! The team are using this opportunity to raise badly needed funds for lifesaving equipment, training, and running costs such as fuel and insurance for our vehicles. All money goes directly towards the provision of our voluntary search & rescue service. Due to the generosity of our sponsors we have some amazing prizes to give back to you in our post race draw on the 2nd July! We would also ask you to support our sponsors.
