Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team, were requested to assist in a evacuation of a young girl who had sustained a lower leg injury while she was out with a group. The girl recieved the injury when she was descending the "Spink" in Glendalough. The incident happened close to a track and the team sent a limited response to help in the evacuation. The injured girl was transported to hospital by an awaiting ambulance.
