30.12.2009 Lough BrayMountain Rescue received a call from the Gardai at approx 16:45hrs today Wednesday 30th December 2009 for a stranded motorist on the road from Glencree to Sally Gap. The motorist became stranded in the icy road conditions. 26.12.2009 SallygapAt approximately 16:20 Dublin Fire Brigade Control centre received a call from a foreign driver stranded in the area of Sallygap. The DFB Control requested the assistance of Mountain Rescue throught the Gardai. As the Team were mobilising mountain rescue 4x4 vehicles to go to the area, we received a call back from the DFB Control centre to standown as the motorist eventually self rescued themselves with the aid of another driver. |

25.12.2009 Ballygobban TownlandAt approximately 21:30 on Christmas night, mountain rescue received a call from the Dublin ambulance control room, requesting the services of mountain rescue to assist 2 ambulance crews at the scene of an road traffic collision (RTC). 2 mountain rescue team 4x4's attended the incident and assisted the ambulance crews at scene. |

25.12.2009 Aughavanagh, Co Wicklow.At 19:30 the Gardai requested the assistance of the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team to attend the scene of a road traffic collision (RTC) in the Aughavanagh area.
