27.08.2011 Callout 44: Glenmacnass Car ParkThe team received a call from a concerned friend for an over due hillwalker. As the team were carrying out some investigations and were just about to activate a full team callout the concerned friend rang back to say the gentleman had turned up safe and well. |

20.08.2011 Callout 43: Lugnaquillia MountainAt 16:00hrs members of the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team received their second callout of the day for a lost lone walker on Lugnaquillia. The male walker had reached the summit of Lugnaquillia however due to deteriorating weather conditions whilst descending he ended up in the Military firing range. 20.08.2011 Callout 42: Ballinastoe Woods, Co WicklowAt approximately 14.00hrs members of the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were put on standby by the ambulance services for a mountain biker who had sustained a shoulder injury. The incident had occurred on a popular mountain bike trail in Ballinastoe Woods, Co Wicklow. The casualty was transported to hospital by ambulance. |

13.08.2011 Callout 41: GlendaloughMountain Rescue Teams responded to a report of a 29 year old male climber who had taken a fall while climbing in Glendalough. Both the Dublin & Wicklow MRT and the Red Cross Glen Of Imaal MRT responded. Mountain Rescue medics treated the casualty on scene, who had sustained a number of injuries from a 6 meter fall.
