27.02.2010 Fraughan Rock GlenAt approximately 15:00hrs on Saturday 27th February, the Gardai requested the assistance of mountain rescue for a lone elderly walker in the Lugnaquilla area. 14.02.2010 Crone WoodAt approx. 16:44hrs on Valentine ’s Day, the Gardai requested the assistance of Mountain Rescue to locate a missing mountain biker. Two Hungarian friends had set of from Crone car park earlier that day to go on mountain biking expedition. Sometime during their outing the two friends became separated. 01.02.2010 Miners Village, Glendalough.A young man who was injured and in need of assistance sucessfully attracted the attention of Mountain Rescue personnel by using his torch to flash a signal for help at 21:15hrs. 24.01.2010 Military Road, Sally Gap, Co Wicklow.As team members were arriving home after carrying out their first full days training of 2010, at approximately 19:30hrs, the Gardai activated the teams pager requesting our help for 2 seperate stranded vehicles again in the Sally Gap area of Wicklow.
