20.11.2011 Callout 61: LugnaquillaTwo hill walkers from Bray, Co. Wicklow on Sunday 20th November, 2011 were unsure of their whereabouts and rang for the emergency services at 5pm. The two men, a father and son aged 48 and 18 years respectively were walking from the Baravore car park up to Lugnaquilla by the Fraughan Rock glen. 06.11.2011 Callout 59: Sugar LoafA lady in her early forties had reached the summit of the Sugarloaf, overlooking the N11 near Bray, late in the afternoon. As she began the tricky descent down one of the gullies near the top of the mountain, she slipped and fell and sustained a serious upper arm injury. 06.11.2011 Callout 58: TicknockThe incident happened at approximately 1.20pm on Sunday 6th October. A lady suffered an injury to her foot whilst out walking with friends near to Three Rock Mountain in the Dublin foothills. Unable to continue, the group communicated their position to the emergency services via 999/112. 05.11.2011 Callout 57: Camara HillOn Saturday 5th November 2011, at 1pm a walker ascending Lugnaquillia experienced chest pains and weakness. Emergency services were called and the Mountain Rescue services in Wicklow responded. The Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team responded to the incident, and rescue teams reached the man and his companions by 1.30pm and were able to make him more comfortable.
