Two hill walkers from Bray, Co. Wicklow on Sunday 20th November, 2011 were unsure of their whereabouts and rang for the emergency services at 5pm. Callout 59: Sugar Loaf

A lady in her early forties had reached the summit of the Sugarloaf, overlooking the N11 near Bray, late in the afternoon. As she began the tricky descent down one of the gullies near the top of the mountain, she slipped and fell and sustained a serious upper arm injury. The incident happened at approximately 1.20pm on Sunday 6th October. A lady suffered an injury to her foot whilst out walking with friends near to Three Rock Mountain in the Dublin foothills. Callout 57: Camara Hill

On Saturday 5th November 2011, at 1pm a walker ascending Lugnaquillia experienced chest pains and weakness. Emergency services were called and the Mountain Rescue services in Wicklow responded.
