Trooperstown

Today, Thursday 2nd December 2010, mountain rescue teams are called for another injured person seeking medical attention from their own home.
The lady in her 50's slipped on ice and suffered a lower leg injury.  Living in the townland of Ballard on the slopes of Trooperstown mtn, she has been completely snow-bound for several days.

2 Missing Walkers - Kanturk Mountain, Co. Wicklow

The Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team were this morning contacted by Gardaí to respond to a 999 call for Mountain Rescue. Pine Forest, Dublin Mountains

At approximately 14:30 on Tuesday 23rd November 2010, the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist the Ambulance Service locate and evacuate a man in his 70's who had began to feel unwell, and eventually collapsed, while walking with a group of friends.
