11.04.2009 Crone WoodAt approximately 14.30 Bray Gardai contacted the Team directly in relation to a phone call they received from a 17yr old male who had become seperated from the rest of his group. The lost walker was a member of a Wicklow Scout group who were camping in Powerscourt Estate and had been out on a walk with a few others from his group. 13.03.2009 BallinabarneyThe Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and our neighbouring the Glen of Imaal (Red Cross) Mountain Rescue Team were tasked in relation to a search for a missing man in the Ballinabarney area . The man's body was discovered by a mountain rescue search party. |

22.02.2009 LugnaquillaThe Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Teams pagers were activated by Garda Command and Control centre, looking for the teams assistance. Two walkers who had started out on the walk from Fentons in the Glen of Imaal had ascended lugnaquilla and due to poor visibility had become disorientated.
