Glendalough, Co Wicklow

Sunday, 13th March, a 16-year old fell in Glendalough while hillwalking. She lacerated her leg quite badly and needed assistance to return from the mountainside. Members of the Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue team and the Glen of Imaal Red CRoss Mountain Rescue Team were called and the Irish Coastguard were alerted. Lugnaquilla Mountain

Yesterday, Saturday the 12th February 2011, a group of four people set out to walk up Lugnaquillia. Annalecka Brook

Today, Saturday 5th February at 11.30am Mountain Rescue teams in Wicklow were alerted to an emergency near the Wicklow Gap. Members of the Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team responded with swift water experts to Annalecka Brook where a Kayaker became trapped in a branch in flood waters.
