The Spink

On 7th November at 13: 30hrs the Gardai activated our pagers to respond to an incident on the Spink for a female with a lower leg injury. Initially team members from DWMRT, GOIMRT, Donegal and the North West MRT were tasked from the Party Leader course. Aughrim

Received a call from the Gardai, requesting the teams assistance in relation to a canoeist who was missing after becoming separated from his group. While the team was mobilising the missing paddler turn up safe and well.

Bray Head

At approx. 20.15 a call was received directly from Bray Gardai to request assistance in recovering 3 Spanish tourists who reported them-selves as being stuck on steep ground on Bray Head. From their position they could see Bray town and the Sea.
