At approximately 17:20hrs, Bray Garda station contacted mountain rescue in relation to 2 missing 17 year old mountain bikers, who had become seperated from the rest of the group in the area of powerscourt, Co Wicklow.
Both the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team, instigated a full team callout due to the weather conditions on scene, the age of the mountain bikers and their last position being that of a mountain track.
As team members were arriving on scene, a message was relayed to one of the group leaders, that both youths had made their own way safely home to Tallaght, Dublin.
