Lough Bray

Mountain Rescue received a call from the Gardai at approx 16:45hrs today Wednesday 30th December 2009 for a stranded motorist on the road from Glencree to Sally Gap. The motorist became stranded in the icy road conditions. Both the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team have dispatched MR 4x4 vehicles to aid the motorist in the area known as Lough Bray. The motorist was brought to safety at 18:30hrs.
