At approx 19:50hrs Gardai requested the assistance of Wicklow's Mountain Rescue services, both the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team, responded to a call for two female walkers who became disorintated and lost in fading light.
As the teams were making their way to the incident site, a call was recieved that the ladies had met up with another hillwalking partywho offered to escort them off the hill. The ladiesjoined up with them and where making their way of the hill.
The team was stood down at 20:07hrs
