16.08.2009 Dargle River BridgeAt approx 15:30hrs the Irish Coast Guard contacted Mountain Rescue and informed them that they had received a call in relation to a male hill-walker on the Wicklow Way above Powerscourt Waterfall, the hill-walker was suffering from what was believed to be a suspected heart attack or M.I. (Myocardial Infarction). The Coast Guard was sending their rescue helicopter Rescue 116 to the scene. Both the Dublin & Wicklow MRT and the Glen of Imaal MRT responded to the call. Incident Stats
