At approximately 14.30 Bray Gardai contacted the Team directly in relation to a phone call they received from a 17yr old male who had become seperated from the rest of his group.
The lost walker was a member of a Wicklow Scout group who were camping in Powerscourt Estate and had been out on a walk with a few others from his group.
He rang the Gardai himself to say he had become seperated from his group.We had a mobile phone number for the lost person but he was out of coverage and we never made phone contact with him during the operation. He told the Gardai he had no contact phone number for anyone else in his group.
Team member headed to Powerscourt to where the group were camping to talk to a leader. We also had team members in Crone Wood carpark.
The group and the lost walker made their way back to each other and we got confirmation they were all safe and therefore we just waited for them to return to Crone Wood Carpark to make sure they were all accounted for.
