At approximately 12:45hrs on Wednesday, January 25th, Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by the HSE National Ambulance Service (NAS) to assist a man in his sixties on the cliff walk on Bray Head. The man was walking with his wife at the time.
The man's wife called emergency services when he began to feel unwell. NAS and mountain rescue personnel assessed the man and escorted him a short distance to the waiting ambulance. On arrival at the ambulance, the man was given a thorough medical assessment. The incident was stood down at 13:40hrs.
