11.03.2012 Callout 6: WalesFour members of the Dublin Wicklow mountain rescue team were tasked with assisting the rescue of a climber who took 30ft (9m) from a Snowdonia peak on a trip to Wales in the weekend just gone by. Our team members were in the area on a skills sharing weekend with the Ogwen Valley mountain rescue when the rambler called in for assistance. 21.01.2012 Callout 5: GlendaloughOn Saturday, 21st Jan 2012, a lady required assistance when she gashed her knee while walking in Glendalough. At about midday, the woman sought assistance, and a small party of mountain rescue personnel were able to reach the walker, treat her injury and transport her to safety.
