The Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team responds to an average of around 60 - 70 callouts a year. The annual running costs for the team including equipment, training, vehicles, insurance etc. averages around €60,000. These running costs have to be covered by fundraising and some assistance from the Government towards our insurance costs. Each year we need to raise approximately €40,000 in donations to make ends meet. Public donations, no matter how small, make all the difference.
We’ve also set up a PayPal account to allow donations to be made securely with a credit card or from your PayPal balance. A receipt will be issued for all donations.
